Gin Fizz is a gin-based drink with a splash of freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice. The other ingredients are – sugar syrup and carbonated water. The drink is similar to another one – Tom Collins.
Its preparation is quick and easy. Gin Fizz is a light drink, in which the sour taste of citrus mingles with the taste of gin. It is best served with plenty of ice cubes in high-ball glass and a slice of lemon or lime.
There are several variations of Gin Fizz, where an egg is added to the drink (white, yolk or whole egg).

- gin (30 ml)
- freshly squeezed lemon juice or lime juice (20 ml)
- sugar syrup (10 ml)
- carbonated water (to be completed)
- ice cubes
Preparation and serving:
Throw a few ice cubes to shaker. Pour the gin, freshly squeezed lemon juice or lime juice and sugar syrup. Shake well. To glass filled with ice cubes, pour the contents of the shaker. Fill with carbonated water. Stir and garnish with a slice of lemon or lime. Gin Fizz is ready.
