Pina Colada – a classic and popular cocktail

Pina Colada (Piňa Colada – also spelled together: pinacolada) is a very popular holiday drink. Its name comes from the Spanish: pina – pineapple, colada – strained, and it owes much of its popularity to a 1979 song “Escape” (also known as “The Pina Colada Song”), which was sang by Rupert Holmes.
The recipe for this drink is simple and can be found on the official list of cocktails of the International Bartenders AssociationIBA in short.
For the preparation you need sine white rum, coconut milk and pineapple juice. This cocktail should be served in a cocktail glass Poco Grande, with a straw and a piece of pineapple.

Blue Hawaii – tropical drink recipe

Blue Hawaii is an excellent drink that will put you in a holiday mood. All thanks to the Hurricane-type glass, in which it is best to serve this cocktail, decoration in the form of a piece of pineapple (it is also worth adding a colourful umbrella), blue colour and tropical flavour.
Blue Hawaii was invented in 1957 by the bartender Harry Yee in Waikiki, Hawaii.
To prepare the cocktail the following are needed: white rum, blue curacao liqueur, pineapple juice, coconut milk (originally Sweet and Sour was used) and ice.
